Lake Junaluska, NC – The 2012 African-American Women’s Leadership Conference, “The Strong Black Woman: Rejoicing Together in God’s Abundant Grace,” focuses on discovering one's spiritual gifts and how this discovery forms the basis of developing exceptional leadership skills in service to Christ, the church, and one's community. From August 23 – 25, participants will also learn about navigating the challenging world of relationships at every level, whether personal or professional.
The women's leadership conference is open to all women - lay and clergy, from young adult to the young-at-heart and beyond. It will be from the unique perspective of what it means to live faithfully as Christians from an African-American female perspective. Participants will also be able to take advantage of opportunities to network and build stronger bonds with other women throughout the church.
