Spend a few days learning about the history of Lake Junaluska (its dam once produced electricity for a single home on the property until the homeowner stopped it, arguing that electricity was just a gimmick!). On Saturday visit the Jammin at the Mill Pond Festival at Haywood Community College Featuring Appalachian craft vendors and demonstrations, a car show, an 1840’s reenactment camp, and music.
