All are welcome to participate in an entry level twined basketry workshop during Appalachian Christmas. Make something for yourself or create a great holiday
gift! Students from age 7 to 97 will learn the twined technique and
complete a small basket. This easy to master basket form will give
students the understanding to try more ambitious baskets on their own, or in
follow-up classes. A great adventure to participate in together with
friends or family. This class is offered by Haywood Community College.
Instructor
supplies all the colorful hand dyed reeds, tools and patterns. The class will be held in Harrell Center room 103 (across from the Heritage Center).
Cost per person: $15
