Kara Vance, 21, joins the Junaluska Singers from Garland, TX. Vance is the daughter of Paul and Janet Vance, also of Garland, TX. She is an economics major at Wheaton College where she is a part of the Wheaton Crew, the schools rowing club. This is the third year that Vance has been a part of the Junaluska Singers, a dream she has had since she would vacation at Lake Junaluska with her family while growing up. Vance's favorite singing group is Stephen Speaks and she is a member of First United Methodist Church of Richardson and she is also very involved in the College Church in Wheaton, Illinois.
