Feast, with stories along the way of church- sponsored agricultural projects that
offer a hopeful way forward.

St. John of Damascus (675-749) claimed that “the whole earth is a living icon of the
face of God.” Through reflecting on our experiences, poetry and discussion we will
explore what this might mean for us, society and the church.

mirrors Christian theory. We will explore the similarities between the two.

An introduction to American public opinion on climate change.
17. Caretakers of God’s Creation for the Global United Methodist Church –
Rev. Dr. Pat Watkins
The history of Caretakers of God’s Creation and our current efforts. Participants
will be engaged in brainstorming on what they think is important in such a ministry
for the UMC.
18. Young Adults and Worship Planning as Theological Education on Creation Care --

Explores one method of involving young adults in the life of the church by involving
them in worship planning to reach theological concepts and bring awareness
about creation care to the congregation.
