Falling in Love with Living and Reconnecting with God. More and more clergy and laity are recognizing the value of a time away for rest and renewal. Some find that a personal retreat is an excellent opportunity for personal renewal and a deepened awareness of who one is in Christ as well as our interconnectedness with all of life in God. Others are experiencing burn-out with lives out of balance and a loss of spiritual grounding. Further, persons may experience a disconnect or loneliness from family and friends, from purpose and meaning, from self and the Holy. Getting away for rest, renewal and/or life planning can make all the difference!
IGC offers the flexibility of time away for a few days to a month, using the historic Atkins House on the Lake Junaluska grounds. A room with shared kitchen and bath is $30 a day, plus $100 program fee, and an additional modest cost for personal Coaching and/or Spiritual Direction.
