Bishop James E. Swanson, Preacher
An award-winning preacher, Bishop Swanson oversees the Holston Conference, which includes more than 900 churches in Tennessee, southwestern Virginia and northern Georgia. He is an ordained elder in the South Georgia Annual Conference, where he also has served as district superintendent. He was a minister at St. Mary's Road United Methodist Church in Columbus, Ga., from 1997-2001.
Rev. Gayle Felton, Platform Speaker
Rev. Felton is an elder in the North Carolina Annual Conference. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School (1982), and a Ph.D., with concentration in the history of Christianity, also Duke University (1987). She has served on the faculties of Meredith College and Duke Divinity School. She is the author of two official United Methodist texts on the Sacraments - Baptism and Holy Communion.

Margo has a passion for helping people prevent
preventable medical errors. The Savvy Patient Health Record System is based on the knowledge she has gained from personal life threatening and patient advocacy experiences combined with 40 years of medical-related reading, her expertise in research, process development, procedure writing, and storytelling. She has a B.S. in Medical Technology, Master's in Storytelling and is a retired business consultant. Currently she is principal of StoryBridge Enterprises and founder of The Savvy Patient School, which offers both in-person and TeleClass sessions.
