Dr. Gayle Carlton Felton
Gayle, an elder in the North Carolina Annual Conference, is the author of two official UM studies on the sacraments for United Methodists-BY WATER AND THE SPIRIT (1997) and THIS HOLY MYSTERY(2007). Dr. Felton has served on the faculty of DUKE Divinity School, as well as Meredith College, and now serves as adjunct faculty at Garrett-Evengelical Seminary. She has spoken and presented across the UM connection in thirty-six annual conferences.
