The Skit Guys, Saturday Night Entertainment

Tommy Woodard and Eddie James are The Skit Guys. They have been best friends since high school. Think of them as the wise guys in class who had everyone laughing and managed to make a career out of it. They've been teaching God's word using comedy, drama and whatever category talking action figures fit into for over twenty years. They have produced a number of humorous videos used for worship and youth group sessions and are often featured at Youth Specialties.  Learn more about The Skit Guys.

The Skit Guys will share a full hour of fun, inspiration, and comedy on Saturday, January 16, 2016!

Rev. Stephanie Hand, Speaker

Rev. Stephanie Hand is a lively, gifted preacher that connects with young people through her enthusiasm and scripture based messages.  She has been a favorite preacher at Lake Junaluska for a number of years and currently is working as a Church Vitality Strategist for the Western North Carolina Conference. After working in the corporate world for a number of years, Stephanie felt the call to ministry and entered Pfeiffer University in the mid-2000’s, earning her Master’s Degree in Christian Education, with specialties in Youth Ministries and Christian Education. After discerning a call to ordained ministry, Stephanie studied at Hood Theological Seminary and in June of 2011, she was ordained, as the first African-American Deacon, in the Western North Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. She has worked in non-profit agencies and churches in the Charlotte area and served as a Ministry Consultant of Christian Education and Leadership Development for the WNCC Ethnic and Justice Ministries.
