She is also the author of CREDO: Faith Formation for Older Youth and Young Adults, and The God-Hungry Imagination: The Art of Storytelling for Postmodern Youth Ministry. Worship Band: Second Hand City (f.k.a. Elishah)
Second Hand City (formerly known as Elishah) has adopted a new moniker, a name that hints at the band's vision and accessibility. This new name is Second Hand City. After years of songwriting, touring, and recording together, brothers Jimmy and Mike Atkins, along with band mates Jake Bigelow, John Kiser and Josh Lanier, realized this truth would inevitably change their music, their lives, and the scope of their ministry. Inspired by an urgency to unite the Body of Christ and to build His kingdom through music, Second Hand City wraps their passion for melodies, lyrics and sonic textures around honest life experiences. This provides the framework for their upcoming eponymous album, “Second Hand City.”
