2013, Lake Junaluska will celebrate 100 years of being a place for spiritual
enrichment, leadership development and recreation. The Lake Junaluska
Centennial Celebration will be a year-long series of signature events and
special functions. Our vision is that the Centennial will inspire people to
celebrate the past, envision the future, and share the Lake Junaluska
experience.

Whitewater rafting adventures at Lake
Junaluska offer all inclusive rafting packages bundled with YOU in mind. Our
focus is to offer the best whitewater rafting and ziplining packages around. We
provide simplicity each step of the way in order for you to relax and have a
great time with your group.

June 13 - July 21, 2013 -
Renew soul, mind, and body this summer at Lake Junaluska, celebrating 100 years of ministry! Join us for a spiritual formation event in the beautiful North Carolina mountains. We provide a morning and evening assembly led by summer staff and guest leadership. The morning session is followed by workshops on a variety of discipleship skills, spiritual growth, and content of interest to youth and youth workers. An optional mission component can be added to any group package for no additional cost. Program is geared towards rising 6th graders through High School seniors.

The Africa
University Choir will perform at the opening worship service of the 2013 Lake
Junaluska Summer Worship Series. They will also perform a free concert that
evening at 7:30pm in Stuart Auditorium.

Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at Lake
Junaluska. Holy
Communion is offered in the Memorial Chapel at 8:30am, followed by spirited
traditional Morning
Worship in Stuart Auditorium at 10:45am. The Lake Junaluska Singers
share inspirational worship music beginning at 10:45 a.m. each Sunday. You
won't want to miss our internationally known line up of guest preachers

Mondays, June 17 - August 5 -
Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still and know that I am God." Join us for a
contemplative service of prayer and song in Memorial Chapel on Monday evenings
throughout the summer, modeled after the Taize Community in France. The casual
atmosphere encourages participants to slow down in the midst of our fast paced
lives, offering simple repetitive songs, scripture, candle light, and silence.

invites you to spend a week-end with Jonathan Maracle, June 28-30, 2013. The
week-end includes workshops with Jonathan, networking with Native American
ministries and churches of the Southeast, a concert, and much more.

The Lake
Junaluska Singers, directed by Dr.
Melodie Galloway, are a 14-voice professional
ensemble, which serves as the Ambassador choir for the Southeastern
Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church and of the Lake Junaluska
Conference and Retreat Center. The group began in 1954 and has performed
nationally and internationally for conferences, dignitaries, and major events.
Their music ranges from classical choral and contemporary works to gospel,
folk and musical theatre styles.

multi-generational event of arts, praise, and renewal in the beautiful Smoky
Mountains, especially designed for those who want to sing, ring, dance, or act
all week, as well as for those who lead these ministries in local
congregations.Sponsored by the Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and
Worship Arts.

June 30 - July 7, 2013 -
Join us during July 4th for Lake Junaluska Homecoming Week and
enjoy a full week of dynamic speakers, worship, music, home tours, and
reunions. A weeklong series of activities, concerts, and July 4th fireworks
will be part of the celebration.

SOULfeast welcomes back beloved Upper Room Books author Trevor Hudson, who will guide us to think about the Holy Spirit's presence in our daily lives. Trevor will explore the impact of the Holy Spirit, revealing how the Spirit brings us alive to God, Community, Transformation, and Missions in the here and now.

The Blue
Ridge Breakaway is an annual cycling event in support of the initiatives of the
Haywood County Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber services the towns of
Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Lake Junaluska, Canton and Clyde.
