This winter, the Lake Junaluska Associates donated 144 tee markers to the Lake Junaluska Golf Course.
"The markers improve the appearance of the course and, being made of recycled plastic, make the course more environmentally friendly," said Frank Stith, chairman of the Associate's project committee. "The tees are easy to see and make the teeing ground consistent throughout the course."
"Our golfers are enjoying having new tee markers that are bright and attractive," said Rick Constance, Lake Junaluska Golf Course Manager. "The new tees add to the beauty of the course."
The purchase of the tee markers was funded by the Lake Junaluska Associates, a fundraising group that supports Lake Junaluska projects and programs.
