LAKE JUNALUSKA, N.C. – Each weekend between December 31, 2010 and February 18, 2011, Christian youth from across the southeast will have the opportunity to gather in the mountains of western North Carolina to hit the slopes and join in fellowship during MYP at Lake Junaluska’s INFUSE Youth Ski Retreats. Together, youth will be transformed by God through vibrant praise and worship, unifying fellowship and fun.
Speakers at the 2011 INFUSE Youth Ski Retreats include Rev. Jasmine Smothers, Rev. Tim Reaves, Rev. Olu Brown, Rev. Troy Benton, Rev. David Walters, and Rev. Andy Lambert. Each weekend this winter, these speakers will explore the message of Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God – what is good and acceptable and perfect” (NRSV).
“Each weekend provides a new opportunity for youth to grow closer to God and to enjoy fellowship with other Christian youth,” said Rev. Carolyn Poling, Director of Ministries with Young People at Lake Junaluska. “It is our mission to inspire and transform youth through Christ’s message, and our retreats also provide them with exciting opportunities to combine worship with a memorable ski experience.”
The INFUSE worship music line-up has a mixture of new bands and Lake Junaluska favorites, including This is Luke, The Justin Graves Band, Unspoken, Among the Thirsty, Eddie Willis & The Narrow Path, and The Wayne Kerr Band.
INFUSE Youth Ski Retreats at Lake Junaluska are all inclusive, affordable Christian retreats in the mountains of North Carolina where youth can experience amazing bands, speakers, as well as the exhilaration of skiing, snowboarding, and tubing.
