9:30am MORNING PRAYER AND PRAISE, the Lake Junaluska Cross Amphitheatre – below Inspiration Point
This 30-minute service is held, weather permitting, in one of the most beautiful sacred venues on the campus – the amphitheatre at the Lake Junaluska Cross, overlooking the Lake and a spectacular vista of the surrounding mountains. The service is informal, following the pattern for Morning Prayer – simple songs, prayers, and scripture Reflection.
This service attracts Lake guests and residents, family reunions, and other groups who desire an opening worship before beginning their stay, or closing devotion just prior to leaving the campus. The service is very “family friendly” and is, therefore, our most age-diverse worship experience.
