"Of Men Who Ventured Much and Far", is the story of Bishop Walter Lambuth's and Dr. John Wesley Gilbert's incredible journey of faith into the central Belgian Congo in 1911-12 to establish a mission.A dramatic presentation at Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 17, at 7:30 p.m. Sponsored by the SEJ Commission on Archives and History. Portrayed by the Rev. Ashley Calhoun as Bishop Lambuth and Professor Isaac Holmes of Paine College as Dr. GIlbert. Limited seating. Free-will offering for the Wembo-Nyama mission." The public is invited.
