Come celebrate Easter at the Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center and join us for the annual Friends of the Lake 5k and Family Walk & Fun Run. The race is part of the Lake Junaluska's Saturday Easter celebration that includes an easter egg hunt for all ages.
When: Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.
Where: Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center - Weldon Gym
Length: 5K Races (9:00 a.m.); 5K Family Walk (9:10 a.m.); Half Mile Fun Run for Kids 10 and under (10:00 a.m.)
Registration
Registration check in is from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at the Nanci Weldon Gym. The course for both the 5K and Family Walk will begin and end at the Nanci Weldon Open Air Gym. Kids Fun Run will be in the grass lot adjacent to the gym. Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable.

AWARDS
The awards ceremony commences upon conclusion of the race. Awards will be given to the top three male & female winners in each age category.

Door prizes will be awarded upon conclusion of the race.
Race Day Registration / Sign-in
- Packet Pickup/Late Registration : Saturday, March 30: 7:30-8:30 a.m. - Nanci Weldon Gymnasium
- Race day registration will end at at 8:30 a.m. sharp for the 5K to allow processing by the race timer.
- T-shirts will be given to the first 100 who pre-register for the 5k or Family Walk.
Course
With the change in venue from Stuart Auditorium to Weldon Gymnasium this year, the course will change.
