Greetings fellow Lake Junaluska Singers Alumni,

My name is Daniel Varnell, and I’m currently the Vice President of the Lake Junaluska Singers Alumni Association.  It is very important to all of us that the heritage of the Lake Junaluska Singers (LJS) is preserved and that the LJS Alumni are kept informed about each other and the future of the Singers. 

Over the years, there have been no definitive records of Lake Junaluska Singers maintained at the Lake. Lake Junaluska Ministry and the LJS Alumni Association have set in motion a process to collect the information - we are attempting to create a database of contact information of alumni since the inception of the Singers.  This will provide a roster of Singers for each summer and will give Lake Junaluska a way to keep the LJS Alumni up to date with current events. 

So far we’ve located over two hundred names of former singers - but we have a long way to go to determine their most current contact information.  This is where you can help.  First, please send your current contact information to davarnell@hotmail.com. This would include the following :

• Name
• Address
• Telephone Number
• E-mail address
• Years you sang at Lake Junaluska
• Your Voice Part

Next, please go through your pictures from the summer(s) you sang in the group and send us the names of as many of the singers from that summer you can remember.  If you have contact information for those people, that would be helpful as well!

This project is essential in preserving the legacy of the Lake Junaluska Singers, and we need your assistance to assure the success of this effort.  We wish you only the best and thank you for your help.
