July 4th-7th
Please join us over July 4th weekend! Start making plans to bring your family to Lake Junaluska to take part in this joyous reunion of Lake Junaluska Singers Alumni from the beginning of the Singers until today. We are looking forward to spending time together this summer reminiscing about old times and making music with Dr. Glenn Draper and Dr. Melodie Galloway!
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Register online for the Lake’s Centennial Celebration ($15 per adult 18 and up - which includes tickets to events throughout the week) and check the box for the Lake Junaluska Singers Reunion. You’ll answer a few questions about your time in the Singers and where you are now as well as which activities you plan to attend throughout the weekend. When you get to the “Fees and Additional Options” page, check the box for the “Lake Junaluska Singer Dinner” if you plan to attend the Welcome Dinner for the Reunion on Friday night.

SCHEDULE
A couple of notes about the schedule.
1) There is ample time in the schedule to make your own plans to reconnect with those you are closest to from your time with the Lake Junaluska Singers. There is also time to make memories at Lake Junaluska and the surrounding areas with your family, sharing this special place with them. We will provide you with some ideas for activities as the event gets closer.
2) You can pick up your name badges and schedule at anytime throughout the week at the Bethea Welcome Center.
3) We will continue to update the details on this site as the dates get closer, but the basic outline of the schedule is as follows:
Thursday, July 4th
7:30 PM: Lake Junaluska Singers Concert (Stuart Auditorium)
We hope that many of you will come with your families to support the current Junaluska Singers and enjoy a wonderful concert.\
Friday, July 5th
Throughout the day: Arrive at Lake Junaluska, reconnect with friends, go hiking with your family, explore Waynesville and Maggie Valley. Enjoy your day in a beautiful location!
3-5 PM: Registration for the Reunion Concert (outside the Harrell Center)
Pick up your music for the Saturday night concert and Sunday morning worship service. You can also pick up your nametags and weekend schedule if you have not already done so at the Bethea Welcome Center.
5-6 PM: Gather for the Welcome Dinner (outside the Harrell Center)
Enjoy a Big Boat tour of Lake Junaluska (available until 7 PM) or just enjoy the scenery and look for old friends as they arrive.
6:00 PM: Welcome Dinner (Harrell Center)
Enjoy a BBQ dinner with other Lake Junaluska Singers Alumni and their families. This is a great opportunity to reconnect with those you sang with as well as meet other Singers from throughout the decades. There will be a slideshow so be sure to send your favorite (family friendly) photos to junaluskasingersalumni@gmail.com.
** The cost for this event is $17 per adult (ages 12+) and $8.50 per child (ages 6-11). The meal is free for children 5 and under. You will be able to pay for the event when you register online. **
Saturday, July 6th
9-10:30 AM: Lake Junaluska Singers Alumni Concert REHEARSAL (Stuart Auditorium)
Singers Alumni will gather in Stuart to rehearse the music which we will perform in the evening. ** Childcare is available during this rehearsal for children 6 months to 6th grade for a fee. Please email junaluskasingersalumni@gmail.com for more information. If you check the box in online registration that you are interested in childcare, we will contact you.
11:00 AM: Brunch at Joey’s Pancake House in Maggie Valley
Joey’s has kindly offered to partition off half of their restaurant for us on this busy weekend. You will have the opportunity to let us know if you plan to attend on the online registration form. However, there is no need to pay in advance and clicking the box does not obligate you to pay anything. You can just show up!
** Joey’s has worked out a special flat rate to be paid the day you dine. It will be $12/meal ordered off the regular menu (including a drink) and $6/meal ordered off the children’s menu. Anyone can order off of either menu. **

Singers Alumni families and friends (and the Lake Junaluska community) are invited to hear a concert by former Lake Junaluska Singers performing song selections from each decade of the LJ Singers. Tickets to this concert are included in your registration fee.

Sunday, July 7th
9:45 AM: Rehearse for Sunday Morning Worship (LJ Singers Alumni - Stuart Auditorium)
10:30 AM: Sunday Morning Worship (Stuart Auditorium)
Please invite your families to join us for Sunday Morning Worship in Stuart Auditorium.
Pre-service music will be provided by the LJ Singers Alumni and music during the worship service will be lead by the current Lake Junaluska Singers.
12:00 PM: Head Home

Dress clothes for Sunday morning worship (tie is not necessary for gentlemen)
