Rejuvenate your youth this winter at Ski Lake Junaluska, where youth will enjoy a weekend full of worship, skiing or snowboarding, and fellowship in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Lake Junaluska Youth Events is proud to present an exciting worship lineup for 2014 Ski Lake Junaluska, including featured speakers Duffy Robbins, Rachel Held Evans, Andy Lambert, Sarah Arthur, and Stephanie Hand. Worship bands include TransMission, Second Hand City, Bestowed, and The Wayne Kerr Band.
The 2014 scripture theme is “Do Not Worry” based on Matthew 6:34: “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes." (The Message)
Ski Lake Junaluska’s Saturday night offering will go towards Heifer International, helping fight hunger and poverty world-wide.
“Our goal of $5,000 by the end of the winter will fund an Ark, providing 2 of every Heifer Animal, that will go forth and multiply, improving lives for countless families and children, and passing on a spirit of faith and charity over and over again to places in the world where generosity, kindness and vision are needed most,” said Jennifer Martin, Interim Director of Program Ministries at Lake Junaluska.
Registration for Ski Lake Junaluska will open June 13. Groups registered by October 15 will receive free t-shirts. Visit www.lakejunaluska.com/ski or call 800.222.4930 for more information.
Non-program ski packages, including early, midweek, and late ski are also available throughout the entire winter season.
