LAKE JUNALUSKA, N.C – The Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center will continue its 2011 Summer Worship Series, “The World is My Parish,” on July 10. The Rev. Trevor Hudson, best-selling author of Questions God Asks Us, A Mile in My Shoes and The Way of Transforming Discipleship, will serve as guest preacher.
“We are thrilled to welcome author and preacher, Trevor Hudson, to our Summer Series. In the post-apartheid era, he has been one of the leading voices in reconciliation and restoration in the Christian community,” said Dr. Jack Ewing, Executive Director of Lake Junaluska.
Hudson has been part of the Methodist movement for over 30 years, primarily serving in and around Johannesburg, South Africa. Currently, he is part of the pastoral team at Northfield Methodist Church in Benoni. Trevor travels internationally and leads conferences, retreats and workshops in a number of diverse settings. He has written several books, including Journey of the Spirit, which was awarded Best Christian Book of the Year of 2003 in South Africa.
This worship service is a partnership with Upper Room Ministries and Lake Junaluska Ministry Events.
