Coaching Skills for Ministry (CS4M) 2014 Brochure
Coaching Skills for Ministry is a new, coaching approach to ministry. Training in coaching skills and how to use them can improve effectiveness and fulfillment in ministry. Participants in this training can expect to:
Grasp an understanding of what coaching is and how it is related to other approaches to “helping” persons.
Observe and debrief live coaching demonstrations by the presenter.
Learn a four-step model for having a “coaching conversation.”
Learn coaching skills that can be integrated into ministry settings.
Have opportunities to practice these coaching skills and to receive feedback.
Study “change” theory and how a coaching approach can aid transformative change to happen with less resistance and more constructive outcomes.
Be trained in a planning process that is based in a “dreaming” approach building upon Arnold Mindell’s theory of “Three Levels of Reality.”
Experience a complimentary coaching session with an IGC affiliated coach.
CEU: 1.5 continuing education credit given at completion of the sessions.
Cost: $197.00 per person for all sessions.
