The Africa
University Choir will perform at the opening worship service of the 2013 Lake
Junaluska Summer Worship Series. They will also perform a free concert that
evening at 7:30pm in Stuart Auditorium.

Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at Lake Junaluska. Holy Communion is offered in the Memorial Chapel at 8:30am, followed by spirited traditional Morning Worship in Stuart Auditorium at 10:45am. 2013, Lake Junaluska will celebrate 100 years of being a place for spiritual
enrichment, leadership development and recreation. The Lake Junaluska
Centennial Celebration will be a year-long series of signature events and
special functions. Our vision is that the Centennial will inspire people to
celebrate the past, envision the future, and share the Lake Junaluska
experience.

The Light of the Lake, Lake Junaluska's Centennial Celebration theatrical production, will highlight time periods of the lake's history through photography and performance.

The Lake Junaluska
Singers, directed by Dr.
Melodie Galloway, are a 16-voice professional
ensemble, which serves as the Ambassador choir for the Southeastern
Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church and of the Lake Junaluska
Conference and Retreat Center. The group began in 1954 and has performed
nationally and internationally for conferences, dignitaries, and major events.
Their music ranges from classical choral and contemporary works to gospel,
folk and musical theatre styles.

October 18-20, 2013 -
The
annual Choir Music Weekend is designed for small and medium sized adult choirs.
Participants will spend the weekend learning new worship anthems, attending
specialized workshops, and sharing in worship together. This year’s event
includes tickets to The Lake Junaluska Singer’s Concert on Saturday,
October 19.

December 12 - 14, 2013 -
Friday evening, the Lake Junaluska Singers will delight with
classic Christmas carols. On Saturday, enjoy our traditional Craft Fair,
followed by a special Christmas performance by The Cockman Family. Saturday
evening, the festivities will conclude with an awe-inspiring performance of
Handel’s Messiah. Two and three night packages available starting at just $143
per person. Lodging, meals, and concert tickets included.
