Labyrinth Workshop and Service of Dedication
In an increasingly busy world, walking a prayer and meditation labyrinth can be a powerful way to quiet distractions and center your mind on God. Join us for this workshop at 10:30–11:30 a.m., Thursday, April 5, in Memorial Chapel at Lake Junaluska to learn ways to use labyrinths -- with a group or as an individual -- for joy and celebration, processing grief, seeking healing and enrichment of everyday prayer. Led by Rev. Mitzi Johnson, Lake Junaluska Director of Programming.
At 11:30, join us for a Service of Dedication as we celebrate the refurbishment of Lake Junaluska’s prayer labyrinth with readings, song and prayer. This event is free and registration is not required.

Jungian Psychology and Celtic Spirituality: Resources for a Grounded Mysticism
September 7-9, 2018 | Lake Junaluska, N.C.
The Retreat will seek to address the deep hunger for a soulful spirituality, one which overcomes the centuries-old splits between matter and spirit, earth and heaven, body and soul. Drawing on Jungian psychology, and the ancient wisdom which nourished our Celtic ancestors, Dr. Wright will propose what might be called a “grounded mysticism." The Retreat will provide a creative space for considering inclusive God-images and a new religious/spiritual paradigm which seems to be on the horizon. No previous knowledge of Celtic spirituality nor Jungian psychology is required for full participation.
Lodging and Meal Packages at Lake Junaluska start at $141/person plus tax. Call 800-222-4930 to make reservations.
Event Registration: $200/person. For questions and event registration, contact Jennifer Martin: Jennifer@firstlightproductions.org or go to www.firstlightproductions.org.
