Lake Junaluska Summer Worship Series

June 10 - August 5

Theme: STORIES ON THE LAKESHORE

In the Gospels, the lakeshore is a place of transformation. It’s on the mountainous shores of the Galilee that followers of Jesus are called, taught, healed and sent out to serve. This summer, gather with us Sundays at Lake Junaluska to hear with fresh ears the challenging stories of Jesus.

Join us for a spirited traditional worship service on Sunday mornings at Lake Junaluska in Stuart Auditorium at 10:45 a.m. You won't want to miss our internationally known lineup of guest preachers.

SUMMER SUNDAY WORSHIP SCHEDULE

  • Morning Worship at Stuart Auditorium:
    • Prelude with the Lake Junaluska Singers, 10:45 a.m.
    • Call to Worship, 11 a.m.*

*Nursery care is provided, free of charge, during the 10:45 a.m. worship service.  Children 6 months and older are welcome at the Wilson Children’s Complex, 21 Shackford Hall Road, for an engaging period of Christian education activities with two trained adult leaders. The Lake Junaluska Trolley runs every 20 minutes and is available for adults to travel between the Wilson Children’s Complex and Stuart Auditorium. There is ample parking at both Stuart Auditorium and the Wilson Children's Complex for dropping off or picking up children.

TAIZE SERVICE OF PRAYER AND SONG

Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still and know that I am God." Join us for a contemplative service of prayer and song on Monday evenings throughout the summer, modeled after the Taize Community in France. Services take place in Memorial Chapel from 8-9 p.m. Read More
