The Winter Youth Retreats are an opportunity for adventure, spiritual growth and worship in the mountains of Western North Carolina! While energized worship with great bands is built into every program weekend, groups now have more freedom in choosing their recreational activities. You can ski or do a mission project during your time at Lake Junaluska.
Lake Junaluska recently received more than $400,000 for the revitalization of youth ministry, and we have begun renovating Mountainview and the Lake Junaluska Apartments! Learn more here.
The world can feel like a scary place. With the Lord on our side, we are freed from fear and freed to live into who we were created to be. When your youth come to Lake Junaluska this winter they will be bolstered by the word of God through powerful worship, and will learn to Be Fearless in faith, fellowship and fun.

We help your youth group live out its faith by coordinating 2 to 4 hours of mission work with a local agency. Your group will be assigned to one or more of the following based on need and availability: thrift store, food pantry, community kitchen, nursing home, chopping wood, painting, yard work. We will send you your mission work assignment 2-3 weeks before your arrival date. Paired with indoor swimming in a local pool, this option combines service with fun. Space is limited. Groups must register for mission work 60 days prior to their event.
There are many ways to explore your faith and have fun with your youth group. A trip to Biltmore Estate or a ziplining adventure can easily be added to your Winter Youth Retreats experience. Alternatively, you can arrange your own itinerary with our options for Area Attractions (pdf). Please call 800-222-4930 to inquire about these options.
