Celebrate new beginnings as we ring in the New Year at Lake Junaluska! Over three days, participants will enjoy engaging preaching and energizing worship! Lake Junaluska offers incredible winter programming where groups can customize their experience by choosing to ski or do mission work during their time at the lake.
Speaker: Charlie Conder (left) is an Orange Student Specialist who coaches youth pastors on maximizing the Orange strategy in their ministries. While she served for a decade as a middle school youth minister in a thriving large United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Ga, she also has a heart for small churches. “Ministry doesn’t have to happen at only mega churches; ministry can happen with three students. I love empowering our small churches because they too can lead change in their community!”
Worship Band: Jay Burnam (right) was raised where the Bible Belt meets Tornado Alley, Jay Burnam has had a heart for music, and specifically musical worship, since his youth. He’s been a songwriter since he was 11, and a musician for most of his life. Fully aware of the grace he’s received not only from the people in his life, but the God that he serves, he has dedicated years to taking up the mantle of worship and bringing people into an intimate, passionate worship experience.
