Dr. Melodie Galloway resigns as director of the Lake Junaluska Singers


The 2016 Lake Junaluska Singers season has been suspended. Dr. Melodie Galloway, the director of the Lake Junaluska Singers, has resigned.

“On behalf of Lake Junaluska, I want to thank Dr. Melodie Galloway for her service,” said Jack Ewing, executive director of Lake Junaluska. “The Lake Junaluska Singers are an integral part of the ministry of Lake Junaluska. We fully expect to continue the legacy of the Lake Junaluska Singers in the future under new leadership.”

Lake Junaluska will continue to host concerts on July 3 and 4. Details about the new performers will be announced soon. Both concerts will now be free of charge, and refunds for ticket sales are available at the Bethea Welcome Center at Lake Junaluska. For more information about refunds, call (800) 222-4930.
