The lakeside swimming pool at Lake Junaluska opens for the season on Friday, May 28, and 2021 Summer Activities Passes that offer pool admission and special discounts at Lake Junaluska through Labor Day are on sale now.
Pool hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Pool admission is complimentary for Lake Junaluska lodging guests and available to day visitors with the purchase of a daily or summer activity pass.
A daily activity pass, which includes all-day pool access, a round of mini golf and an hour of shuffleboard or cornhole, is $10 per person per day or $30 for immediate family per day, with $5 per person after four people. Daily activity passes can be purchased at the Lake Junaluska Outfitters’ window at the Lake Junaluska swimming pool.
Lake Junaluska 2021 Summer Activity Passes, which include admission for up to four people to the swimming pool from Memorial Day through Labor Day, can be purchased in person at the Lake Junaluska Outfitters window or online at the Lake Junaluska Outfitters webpage. In addition to pool access, Summer Activity passholders enjoy a 10 percent dining discount at the Lakeside Bistro and Lambuth Inn Dining Room, 10 percent discount at Junaluska Gifts & Grounds gift and coffee shop, $5 discount on a round of golf with cart at the Lake Junaluska Golf Course, 10 percent off canoe, kayak and paddleboard rentals (up to four people per visit), a complimentary round of mini golf and complimentary rental of tennis or pickleball equipment. Passes for families of five or six also are available.
Summer hours for kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals and Lake Junaluska's guided pontoon boat cruises also begin on May 28. Lake Junaluska Outfitters will offer canoe, kayak and paddleboard rentals daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Labor Day. Cherokee IV boat tours, which depart from the boat dock at the Harrell Center, will be offered Thursday-Sunday 1-8 p.m.
