The Terrace at Lake Junaluska Undergoing Renovations

The Terrace at Lake Junaluska is undergoing a $3.2 million renovation this winter including upgrades to all 105 sleeping rooms as well as new carpet and paint in meeting spaces. It is scheduled to reopen in April.

Overlooking idyllic Lake Junaluska, The Terrace is a popular choice for its central location to full service facilities and breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. It offers lakefront rooms, free wireless internet, and complimentary access to the on campus Fitness Center and the Aquatic Center’s seasonal pool.

In addition to sleeping rooms, The Terrace at Lake Junaluska offers a variety of meeting rooms that accommodate from 40 to 350 guests. The dining room, which serves all-you-can-eat buffet style meals, can accommodate up to 350 guests. Some meeting spaces can be used as banquet rooms and provide a pleasant atmosphere for receptions.

Nestled in the mountains of North Carolina, Lake Junaluska first opened its doors in 1913 and includes 1,200 acres, 400 lodging rooms, a 2.6 mile lakeside walking path, and easy access to Western North Carolina’s prime attractions.
