Friends of the Lake Circle
Making Connections Happen

A significant part of experiencing Lake Junaluska includes slowing down the hectic pace of everyday life and finding true connections with family, friends, and faith.  These connections happen in a variety of ways at Lake Junaluska.

  • A young couple connects while strolling along the Rose Walk and dreaming of their future life together.
  • A family connects while competing in the Fourth of July Family Olympics.
  • Grandparents connect with their grandchildren while teaching them how to fish from the pier.

A common thread in almost every experience at Lake Junaluska is the connection we feel to nature, enhanced by the overwhelming beauty of the grounds.  Not only do we have unparalleled vistas of the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains, we also have places like Inspiration Point where visitors can immerse themselves in a spectacular garden and a sense of wonder.

These experiences are made possible because of the support of people like you. As a new way to recognize people who support Friends of the Lake, Lake Junaluska has established a new giving circle, the Friends of the Lake Circle. The circle will recognize donors who give $500 or more to the lake, grounds, and recreation at Lake Junaluska.

When you make a gift to Friends of the Lake, you are ensuring that Lake Junaluska continues to be a beloved place where the community can enjoy the walking trail, gardens, and breathtaking vistas.
