A Place of Enduring Light and Hope

Lake Junaluska continues to be a place of enduring light and hope. As a not-for-profit conference and retreat center, Lake Junaluska relies on charitable giving to help fulfill and sustain our mission. Please consider showing your love and support for Lake Junaluska by making a financial gift as you are able. Your gift will have a tremendous impact, enabling Lake Junaluska to be the place people return to as they seek connection and reunion in the days to come.

Be the Light

The Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 and 2021 has ushered in unforeseen challenges — limits on the size of group gatherings, travel restrictions and social distancing requirements. Yet, Lake Junaluska remains faithful to living out our mission by being a light for the rest of the world in creative ways. We have adapted our ministry model to provide a safe haven for individuals, families and small groups who are seeking renewal in the midst of this challenging time.

Ways You Can Help

Many of our donors have asked how they can help during this time and our answer is two-fold:

♦ First, your Annual Fund gift to Lake Junaluska this year is critical in supporting our ability to adapt to the challenges of the pandemic and continue to fulfill our mission and ministry.
♦ Second, we invite you to Be the Light by making an additional gift, over and above your ongoing Annual Fund support.

When choosing to make a Be the Light gift, you are choosing to give a special gift to support Lake Junaluska’s mission and ministry during this critical time. Additionally, your gift will ensure that, after this crisis has receded, Lake Junaluska’s tomorrow will be as bright and as transformational as we have been historically.

We are deeply grateful to donors who have given Be the Light gifts to support our ongoing ministry. Recently, a Be the Light gift was given to support  Lake Junaluska's Easter Sunrise Service, enabling a brass quintet to provide joyous music of hope and resurrection. This meaningful gift was given in memory of GL Crump, an avid musician who deeply loved Lake Junaluska.
